Hey Friends!

Join us for our 2024 Christmas Fundraiser! This year, we’re excited to bring together our staff, their families, the children and parents we serve, and the broader Wanyange, Jinja community in a multi-day Christmas celebration and service project. This event will include special Christmas dinners for around 300 people of children, staff, and both their families, ensuring a memorable time together celebrating the birth of Christ. For the children, we’re planning an extra dose of fun with activities like bounce houses, sweets, and activities giving them a celebration to remember!

We also look forward to honoring our team in Uganda with a Christmas dinner and gathering for over 30 staff members and their spouses, celebrating their commitment and sacrifice. Additionally, thanks to your generosity, we’ll be able to offer a meaningful Christmas bonus to our staff members and volunteers as a way of saying “thank you” for their hard work the past year.

While the dinners and community celebrations are a great way to bless our staff, kids, and community, we will also be hosting a community cleanup day with our staff and children, empowering them to give back and show love for their neighbors right where we are. This fundraiser also covers transportation and the time of bringing in some other pastors to minister with us in the community and during the events, to share the Gospel and Christmas Story throughout this season. 

Through this event, we aim to create environments that opens hearts to the Gospel and offers a glimpse of Christ’s love in action. Our goal this year is to raise $4,500 to make these celebrations, bonuses, and outreaches possible.
